Multi-spindle drilling machines for processing thick-walled tube sheets or thin-walled tube plates or gussets, depending on the strength individually or as a package. The horizontal multi spindle down hole drill Heynudrill HTB can be equipped on the required drilling capacity of up to five spindles for drilling methods GUN and BTA. Each spindle is equipped with its own main and feed drive and can be accessed individually or in combination.
The Heynudrill MPN can be equipped with up to 12 spindles for the economic machining of thin-walled tube plates or gussets. Also in the MPN each has its own main spindle and feed drive, so even here each spindle can be retrieved individually or in combination. The adjustment of the distance between themselves and the adjustment of individual spindles in X- and Y-axis is CNC-controlled. In the MPN both is possible, the drilling with twist drills, coolant bores and the drilling in the GUN process.

For BTA-method, drilling oil feed or supply units (BOZA) are required to supply the cooling oil. During gun drilling, the BOZA also undertakes the disposal of the cutting chips. For both methods, the BOZA has a common body (KOMBI-BOZA). This machine body incorporates the diameter depending drilling tube guide and the drilling bush. The KOMBI-BOZA is mounted on the guide slide of the deep-hole drilling unit. A hydraulic cylinder in the drilling bush holder seals up the KOMBI-BOZA to the work piece. The tool drive in the drilling spindle is effected by a clamping shaft and a driving pin during gun drilling and by a collet chuck during BTA drilling.
